Exposure to mercury can cause Alzheimer’s and ALS

Mercury is one of the most dangerous metals for human health. It has been introduced into our environment and also found in medicine use. Mercury was applied in particular in dentistry, whereby the dental amalgam has become a major source of mercury in humans. Studies show a two- to three fold increase mercury accumulation in organs of amalgam fillings. It is pointed out in many studies that mercury exposure can be a cause of Alzheimer’s and ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).Exposure to mercury

Harmful exposure to mercury.

As Mercury can damage our health, the following examples show:
Mercury in amalgam which is used as dental filler generated in connection with a medium, for here. As the saliva, an electric charge called galvanic toxicity. In this case, the brain comprises millions of nerve fibers that process such as a battery electric charges from the entire body. These mercury-induced galvanic toxicity in the mouth can lead to overstimulation of the brain.

Mercury is a very strong neurotoxin. It is able damaging neurons of the brain and at the same time it acts synergistically with other metals, which man can be exposed through the various environmental impacts such as manganese, aluminum or lead.

In addition, the increased mercury homocysteine (HCY) by leads to increased consumption of folic acid, and vitamins B12 and B6. Elevated homocysteine is associated with various diseases, including with:

  • Atherosclerosis
  • Ischemic cardiovascular processes
  • Venous thrombosis
  • Strokes
  • Dementia and Alzheimer
  • Cognitive disorders
  • Reinforced oxidative/nitrosative stress.

This has shown studies on cells, animals and observational studies in humans.
